Oh what a night! Early in December back in '63, born and raised in San Francisco. For the first 32 years of my life, the extent of my musical talent went as far as the tip of my index finger as I reached for the power-button on my stereo. I've always loved music from the sound of the stereo to the "backyard" (OK, inside the living room near the fireplace) family jams.

In 1996, feeling a little bored with my interests at the time, I decided to take up a musical instrument. With the help of my cousin Ed (Mahiko), he was more than eager to help. I decided the bass would be best-suited for me. I borrowed Ed's bass and started practicing. What started as the two of us getting together to practice and jam, ended up with a friend (Ed Salvador) joined by another friend (Reis Santana) joined by a cousin (Keoki Dacoscos), and the rest is history. Hence there was (and still is)...ShoreBreak!

Special thanks to my family and especially my wife for supporting my newfound love of music.
