Originally from San Francisco, CA, now residing in Benicia. Was born
into a family of musicians. Both parents were Music majors in college (Mom plays Trumpet
and Piano, Dad the Drums) and exposed me to music at an early age. Started playing in
school bands in the 5th grade and continued through High school playing both
the tenor and baritone saxophones. Also played in a couple of garage- type bands
("Tower of Power"/"Chicago" style). Competed in a "Battle of
the Bands" competition at the old California Hall in San Francisco.
Met Augie Kim through work and was invited to a 4th of July
barbecue at Ed Mahiko’s house.
Ed, Augie and Ed Salvador were all jammin' in the living room and I
jumped on Ed’s keyboard to add some percussion. We've been together
ever since, playing
the music that we love.
